CHANNING CHU

Channing Chu is a New Zealand-born pianist who is currently studying piano with Rae de Lisle at the University of Auckland. He also takes lessons with Jason Bae. Channing was awarded the ARSM diploma in 2017 with the highest mark in New Zealand. He has also achieved Distinction in his DipABRSM exam in 2018, and in 2019 achieved an NCEA Scholarship in music. He was a finalist in the 2021 Aegio International Piano Competition and has received numerous awards in various local piano competitions.
